Lund is one of Europe’s oldest university cities, situated in the south of Sweden in one of the world’s largest science/ biotechnology environments – the Medicon Valley.

Over 1,200 people work at our state of the art R&D facility in Lund where efforts are focused on respiratory diseases such as asthma, rhinitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. 

Pulmicort and Symbicort were both developed here.
